About the Position: Fort Liberty is a culturally diverse area with both rural and city populations, adjacent to Fayetteville and centrally located in the beautiful state of NC which enjoys a temperature year-round climate and world-renowned colleges and universities. Fayetteville is located between the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and the scenic Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains.

Duties

Manage numerous reports and provides pertinent data to the PBO concerning property accountability and supply programs. Provide guidance to assist command and supported units in attaining goals and objectives. Establish a detailed supply plan, coordinating programs jointly with the various staff sections and Accountable Property Officers/Category Managers. Serve as the project manager and provides training support to unit personnel on new and existing logistics property accountability systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI access.
  • Position is subject to pre-employment urinalysis testing and periodically thereafter.
  • This position may require Temporary Duty (TDY) 30 days or less CONUS/OCONUS to non-combat areas.
  • Subject to 24-hour recall.
  • Position is designated as Mission Essential, consistent with the criteria described in DoD Instruction (DoDI) 3024.42.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
