You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of COMNAVSPECWARGRU 2.
Duties
You will be Responsible for the management of custom software solutions for the N7, (Comptroller Department).
You innovate, develop, maintain, and sustain custom desktop web and report base applications that are used as regular and reoccurring tools across
the NSW enterprise.
You will serve as the principal advisor to the Comptroller for all cost review analysis, studies and projects where financial data is collected and analyzed to provide specific cost information for current and future requirements.
You receive ad hoc study requests to analyze, evaluate, make recommendations, and prepare written charts, graphs, and report on costs for specific programs.
You will independently collect and research information to remain current with best practices and industry standards with respect to the SharePoint architecture to meet the requirements of NSWG-2 Finance Department.
You will be involved in all aspects of implementation, utilization, and data integrity of both custom-built and directed financial systems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Network Operations Specialist Journeymen II within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing development implementation, evaluation, process improvement and procedures to monitor the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of a number of very important and complex professional, scientific and technical programs AND developing solutions to problems and dealing with issues that have direct impact on the accomplishment of primary programs and objectives.
