Duties

Conduct financial and regulatory audits. Manage the Government Purchase Card Program, Defense Travel System and Government Travel Card. Verify/certify billing statements for credit card payment. Serve as a liaison on all resource management activities

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required 10% of the time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain Financial Management Certification Level 2.
  • 1 Year probationary period may be required.

Specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience analyzing financial policies to provide guidance to organization; extracting and analyzing data from automated systems such as DTS; and utilizing accounting information provided by others to assess programs and make recommendations. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Concepts, Policies, and Principles of FinanceFinancial Management AnalysisFinancial Management Systems Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
