You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN HELPER in the REPAIR DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Duties

You will install, repair, manufacture, alter, fabricate and maintain electrical systems. You will use pulling and strapping cables, packing tubes, in addition to skinning and cutting-in or hook-up of cables. You will procure tools, materials, and perform cleaning of associated components. You will use hand tools such as: wire-strippers, crimpers, soldering irons and meters.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
