DCSA's Threat Directorate is seeking an Action Officer to serve as the POC for coordinating and completing staff actions, preparing briefings, and conduct liaison with Threat Directorate and DCSA staff. This is an excellent opportunity for those with experience & knowledge of CI organizations, acquisition policies, policy implementation, development of life cycle cost analyses, and applicable laws/policies dealing with DoD CI and Insider Threat.
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST you will be responsible for the following duties:
*Utilizes qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assess and improve program effectiveness and improve complex management processes.
*Formulates budget execution, program planning, contract management, procedures, processes, goals and objectives
*Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative and analyzes contract performance and make recommendations for revisions as projects proceed through the acquisition life cycle.
* Provide advice regarding contract strategies to best accomplish project acquisition plans.
* Assist in the establishment of source selection evaluations, to include developing draft source selection plans and determining acceptable levels of performance.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience and knowledge of technical and operational issues relating to CI and insider threat. Familiarity with security, information security and assurance, critical infrastructure protection and risk management as they relate to DOD and its components.
