This Program Analyst is located in Directorate for Biological Sciences (BIO), Division of Environmental Biology (DEB). The incumbent applies qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques and information management skills to capture, assemble, analyze, and disseminate data for assigned projects.

As a Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties:
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-12 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 Level in federal service performing, leading, and overseeing complex analyses. Examples of experience include: using quantitative/qualitative analytical techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of administrative procedures & operations, & to recommend changes to meet short/long-term strategic plans; engaging in on-going analysis of financial matters to determine resources required & ensuring that regulations concerning financial management are adhered to; applying various analytical techniques to data management systems in order to identify and report on patterns/trends; & performing management studies to evaluate & analyze projects, programs, & activities & to recommend solutions to increase efficiency/effectiveness.
