You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the EXPEDITIONARY ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEMS DIVISION, SPECTRUM WARFARE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $128,043).
This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
Duties
You will serve as the hardware configuration manager (CM) for Expeditionary Electronic Warfare systems.
You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing engineering change proposals (ECP).
You will plan and lead all program office level physical configuration audits.
You will manage and maintain the configuration management database (CMDB) and other related tools.
You will participate in design reviews and provide configuration management expertise to engineering teams.
You will provide regular status reports to program management on the status of configuration management activities.
You will be in charge of developing and recommending Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) planning and supportability requirements.
You will be responsible for the coordination and integration of numerous activities and functions into an overall efficient and effective support effort for Expeditionary Electronic Warfare systems and services.
You will chair any local configuration control boards to address engineering change proposals.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector executing and leading configuration management processes across multiple programs and evaluating and modifying Integrated Logistical Support (ILS).
