You will serve as a Housing Management Assistant in the Unaccompanied Housing Program of NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE NEW LONDON.
Duties
You will maintain records within the Unaccompanied Housing Module (UHM) of Enterprise Military Housing (eMH).
You will ensure assigned facilities are properly maintained, habitable, and ready for assignment to newly arriving personnel.
You will perform minor household type maintenance and inspect vacant rooms and common areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues.

- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Subject to work on weekends and holidays as well as other shifts as mission requires. position requires flexibility in work scheduled based on possible changes to mission requirements and/or dynamics or resident work schedules.
Qualifications
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Applying housing administration policies, procedures, and regulations for military family housing to counsel prospective and current applicants 2) Setting priorities and responding to inquiries from housing applicants and various agencies to facilitate workload requirements 3) Interpreting applicable state laws to explain rental and lease agreements to housing applicants 4) Preparing housing reports for local management to submit to higher authorities.
