Duties
You will monitor leases and rental agreements to ensure compliance with housing practices.
You will conduct joint tenant-management inspections of housing to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability of the unit, furnishings, equipment, and facilities.
You will participate in the processing of complaints and related investigations concerning community housing facilities and practices.
You will conduct technical studies of family housing demands, turnover rates, and physical requirements and develops recommendations for changes or improvements.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide service to the housing referral function. Participate in the processing of complaints and related investigations concerning community housing facilities and practices; 2) Conduct technical studies of family housing demands, turnover rates, and physical requirements and develops recommendations for changes or improvements; 3) Conduct inspections, audits, and management reviews of onsite activities; identify problems or deficiencies related to the major activity areas; recommend or implement appropriate corrective measures in such areas as maintenance, repairs, assignments, or furnishings and equipment; and follow up on findings to assure deficiencies are corrected; 4) Provide customer support services to military and civilian officials concerning housing policies, programs, and procedures.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree in a field that provided the knowledge, skills and abilities to do the work of the position.
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree in a field that provided the knowledge, skills and abilities to do the work of the position.
OR
Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the work of the position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
