About the Position: Serves as Contracting Knowledge Management (KM) and Lessons Learned (LL) Action Officer within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Procurement (ODASA(P)), Force Modernization Proponent (FMP) Directorate at Fort Gregg-Adams Virginia. Determines contracting knowledge management needs and collects relevant observations, insights, and lessons learned from sustainment and maneuver operational exercises, evaluations, and after-action reports.

Duties

Maintain awareness of military and civilian developments having an impact on Acquisition, Logistics and Technology functions. Coordinate with Proponent Office for Operational Contract Support (TPO-OCS) to enable the processing, comparison, and integration of relevant information. Ensure Force Modernization Proponent (FMP) personnel are trained on using operational contracting websites/portals such as Procurement. Army. Mil (PAM).

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.
