You will serve as a GAME DIRECTOR in the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory of the DC Combat Development & Integration of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD.
Duties
You will identify future challenges and opportunities, develop warfighting concepts, and comprehensively explore options in the combat development process to meet the challenges of the future operating environment.
You will be responsible for the organization, management, and coordination of a Wargame Team and the preparation, execution, and assessment of its assigned wargame.
You will act as the Wargame Branch Head?s single point of contact to lead a wargame project through to completion.
You will understand sponsor requirements, formulate objectives, and develop wargame methodology (scenario, mechanics, deliverables, etc.).
You will continually develop innovative wargaming methodologies and techniques.
You will maintain knowledge of tactical, operational and strategic military planning processes, including but not limited to the Marine Corps Planning Process, and the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Organizing and synchronizing teams and schedules and liaising with external organizations in the execution of wargames; 2) Designing, developing and implementing wargames for organization-wide application; 3) Ensuring the completion of wargame data capture and distributing reports to managers; 4) Developing and delivering executive briefings to wargame sponsors; and 5) Advising policy-making officials on wargaming activities and scenario development to meet the challenges of the future operating environment.
