Duties
Performs analytical work in support of management to evaluate and improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of Merchandise Replenishment program. Manages the Replenishment process to include vendor/ item set up and sales & inventory analysis. Partners with Buyers to ensure components of the process are set up accurately to include: fill-to rates, weeks of supply to cycle time and vendor lead-time. Identifies performance of financial plans with Buyers by monitoring order generation and impact to inventory levels and Open-To-Buy. Provides retail dollar forecasting to Merchandise Planner for use in Open-to-Buy projections. Defines, implements and maintains consistent methodology to promote effective execution of the process.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field appropriate to work of the position, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR three years experience and in-depth knowledge in retail buying and merchandising techniques. Substantial knowledge of retail buying and merchandising techniques. Skill to compile and analyze qualitative and quantitative retail data into various presentation formats, to include weeks of supply, inventory turnover, selling rate and implications on sales and gross margin performance. Skill in oral and written communication to prepare and present recommendations and solutions regarding issues based on analysis and evaluation of proposals. Skill to operate a personal computer and associated software. Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MR/MF policy.
