You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the REGISTRY & ALLOWANCES BRANCH of the WEAPONS SYSTEMS DIVISION in the SPECIAL WARFARE & EXPEDITIONARY SYSTEMS DEPAREMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is equivalent to the GS-11/12 level.
Duties
You will be responsible for the coordination and integration of numerous logistic activities and functions into an overall efficient and effective support effort.
You will plan, integrate, direct and manage an effective ILS program and relate logistics elements to equipment/system life cycles.
You will provide technical leadership of any areas of logistics including Integrated Logistics Support, System Management, Logistic Readiness, Intra/Inter-Service Support Agreements, Logistics Plans, Logistics Info Systems or Foreign Military Sales.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band, NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and identifying Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) and product support requirements to develop or adjust plans and schedules throughout a Small Arms or Light Weapons system's lifecycle.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
