About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.

Duties

Advises command group on resource planning and programming policies and procedures to optimize the use of resources in accomplishing the Command?s mission. Approves multi-year and long-term work plans developed by subordinates. Responsible for providing cost and economic analysis support to CCOE principal staff.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance.
• This is a Drug Testing Designated Position. This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
• The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program)
• and must pass urinalysis testing, as required, prior to appointment, reassignment or transfer and periodically thereafter.
• Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 20 percent of the time.
• Certification Level 2: THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act
• (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d.
• Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position.
• Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
• This is a Cyber Term position scheduled to last 3 years, may be made permanent. A Cyber Term Appointment may be extended to a maximum of five years depending upon the needs of management.
