You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Alternate COR in the Contract and Configuration Management Branch (LXB30) of the Exploration Ground Systems, Program Planning and Control Division at the Kennedy Space Center and is responsible for contract management activities for significant Program contracts.
Duties
Lead and execute contract management activities for large Program contracts.
Manage and interpret contract requirements, scope, technical integration, and review for projects and
programs with national impact.
Advise and consult with all levels of management on contractual requirements, surveillance, and
performance.
Conduct technical evaluation reviews and perform analyses and assessments necessary for contract
modifications; guide and direct the management of contract work and baseline changes.
Coordinate, monitor, and maintain surveillance of contract and technical activities, and evaluate, assess,
and report contractor performance through the Award Fee and other methods.
Ensure the Contracting Officer is informed of progress for proposed contract modifications, analysis of
proposals, and assessment of contract extensions.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
Coordinating, monitoring, and performing work in all phases of resource planning and programming;
Evaluating contract objectives, plans, and resources for compatibility with the program, maintaining surveillance of contracts and technical activities;
Evaluating proposals and assessing resource requirements against scope of work.
