Serves as a Program Specialist performing various duties to include providing facility support for moves/mods, serving as the Kennedy Space Center Move/Mod Committee liaison, assisting multiple facilities, maintaining accountability of keys, providing comprehensive program support, compiling data for the organization, serving as the alternate for badging and tours, and assisting with badging for Center and Space Station Processing Facility (SSPF) access.

Duties

Duties described below are at the full-performance level. Duties assigned at a lower grade level will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Integrates Exploration Research and Technology and Deep Space Logistics Directorate Move/Mod requirements. Serves on the Center's Move/Mod committee as liaison for directorate personnel located in multiple facilities across the Center. Serves as property custodian for Deep Space Logistics tracking all property on a monthly basis for both the civil service workforce and the LENS Contractor. Serves as key custodian for multiple facilities and organizations maintaining accountability of all keys. Performs annual key audits working closely with the Lockshop. Serves as the alternate directorate point of contact directing the planning and execution of tour visits and VIP tours for Exploration Research and Technology and Deep Space Logistics. Serves as alternate customer interface for Exploration Research and Technology Programs and Deep Space Logistics (DSL) facilities responsible for badging, including foreign nationals and maintaining a database of all guests/visitors. Integrates presentations across the Exploration Research and Technology Organization. Collects and gathers data and generating reports for management. Coordinates and schedules Accelerated Training Program briefings.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-09 level, you must have: a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level: Applying concepts related to office management systems, policies, or procedures to assist with interpreting requirements; Using technology applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, or PowerPoint for assisting with data collection, reporting, coordinating schedules or briefings, or preparing presentations; and Working with customers to provide information about a program, policy, or procedure OR b) Completed all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field OR c) Completed 2 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field OR d) LL. B or J.D, if related OR e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above To qualify for GS-11, you must have: a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level: Supporting the coordination of activities related to facilities or office moves to ensure requirements are met; Providing services related to property maintenance and accountability that comply with policies and regulations; and Working with a key system or key core overlays to provide various key-related services OR b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field OR c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field OR d) LL.M., if related OR e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above Your resume must include a clear and detailed narrative description, in your own words, of how you meet the required specialized experience.
