About the Position: The Position is with the Futures and Concepts Center, FIRES CDID Fort Sill duty station. The incumbent will serve as Chief Mission Support.

Duties

Serve as advisor and consultant to the Director, Fires Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (FCDID) on policy matters relative to the various complex and intricate programs and specific mission of the FCDID. Keep abreast of new policies, procedures, regulations, directives, etc.; develops and recommends the framework for wide policies, programs and systems designed to increase efficiency and economy of functions and operations. Serve as the supervisor over professional and support personnel responsible for providing operations, administration, supply, information technology, internal controls, cyber security. Responsible for developing, coordinating, monitoring all operational funding.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • One-year Supervisory trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

AND 3) Providing technical advice, guidance assistance and recommendations to directors and Special staffs of the organization AND 4)Planning, overseeing, assigning, and evaluating work of subordinates of the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
