About the Position: As an Administrative Support Assistant, you will provide a full range of administrative and support type duties within Planning, Programs & Projects Management Division in such areas as travel, training, files management, property accountability, and reports.

Duties

The duties for the Administrative Support Assistant, GS-0303-07 will be, but not limited to the following: Perform a variety of administrative and support type duties in such areas as personnel management, administration, travel, training, files management, property accountability, and reports. Prepare travel orders and travel vouchers for all supported employees within the branch. Advise the supervisor on budget, purchasing and processing functions of the office. Provide cross training to other organizational admins. Forecast requirements for office equipment, office supplies, and other in-house budget data.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical)LeadershipManages and Organizes InformationReasoning (Clerical/Technical) GS-07 Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
