You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (COR Certification Manager) in the Contracts Department, Acquisition Policy/Oversight Division (021), COR Oversight Branch (0214) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $145,617).
Duties
You will manage the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) program in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense
Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), NAVSEA, Department of Defense (DoD) regulations/policy.
You will ensure Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) COR Supplemental and Refresher Training is scheduled and conducted at the activity to support COR certification requirements for CORs and Contracting Officers appointing CORs.
You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Surveillance and Performance Monitoring (SPM) module in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) approve and review role access, and answer questions.
You will ensure reports are reviewed/approved, to include: providing system training and answering questions for Contracts Department personnel.
You will lead a COR Community of Practice to collaborate and provide updated guidance/policy, lessons learned, best practices, etc.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating contracts or contractor performance to ensure conformance to contracting regulations and successful delivery of products, supplies, or services.
