About the Position: The CECOM Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) is headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, with activities throughout the United States and in eight countries. The CECOM ILSC mission is to provide global C5ISR logistics support to the warfighter and coalition forces, in a timely, cost-effective manner. Performs deliberate and crisis action planning. Oversees and coordinates deployment requirements for personnel supporting missions around the world.
Duties
Serve as a Supervisor over the Professional Development and Career Management Branch, providing Acquisition Workforce Support for all acquisition career fields.
Disseminate Deputy Director, Acquisitions Career Management (DDACM) guidance on all acquisition certifications, ensuring major command (MACOM) compliance.
Ensure compliance with acquisition education or training requirements.
Recommend or develop policy for the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC).
Serve as the primary source of information from higher headquarters on the implementation of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA).
Provide advice, counsel or instruction to individual employees on work/administrative matters.

To qualify for this position, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (NH-03 or GS-13) or equivalent pay band in the Federal service which includes: 1) Manage an Acquisition career program that includes supporting acquisition education, training requirements or Acquisition Corps membership; 2) Review/analyze guidance on career management or development; AND 3) Advise others on career development requirements.
