As a District Resources Management Assistant at the GS-0303-6, you will be part of Atlanta District Office, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the District Resources Manager to manage administrative resources and requirements of a district office, and its subsidiary offices.
Duties
Reviews administrative information submitted by other office units for completeness and accuracy, takes necessary action to correct errors.
Works with DRM on the following administrative issues: IT requirements, equipment maintenance and acquisition, employee passes, building security, office keys, property disposal, records management, travel and credit card matters, etc.
Provides technical and administrative assistance primarily to the District Resources Manager in support of budget, finance, human resources and administrative functions.
Provides information on administrative functions, gives guidance to the DRM, supervisors, and other personnel in the district offices concerning agency administrative objectives, policies and procedures.
Maintains office budget records, maintains purchase records, tracks expenditures and obligations, enters data into automated financial data systems.
Assists the DRM and other managers in support of staffing and recruiting and other human resources management-related activities such as training and employee surveys.
Drafts routine personnel-related memoranda, including bargaining unit matters, disability, workers compensation, ergonomics and other human resources issues, as necessary.

- Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
Qualifications
For the GS-6: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in the federal service directly related to the line of work of this position. Examples of specialized experience may include providing administrative assistance in the areas of budget, finance, and/or human resources.
