About the Position: You will serve as an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager that participates in the formulation, development, preparation, presentation, and administration of U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command's (USACIDC) worldwide information systems objectives, policies, programs, plans, and projects.

Duties

Disseminate new and updated policies throughout organization. Ensure policies and guidance are implemented throughout organization. Develop plans, programs, and guidance to support short and long term program requirements. Develop short and long range information management projects. Administer contracts for planning and implementation of information systems. Ensure contractors adhere to established policies and guidance during implementation of information systems. Recommend adjustments to information programs to meet new and updated policies and standards. Maintain constant interaction within and outside organization regarding information system updates to policies and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires access to classified information. You will be required to complete a Form SF 312, Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA). Incumbent must submit a confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
  • Must successfully complete Pre-Employment and periodic urinalysis exams.

Specialized experience is defined as: GS-13: Incorporating new and updated requirements of IT projects into existing systems, evaluating effectiveness of performance/quality of projects, updating information systems to adhere to policies and guidance, using wide range of automation techniques and existing strategies to develop/interpret policies. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Technology Policy and PlanningProject Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
