About the Position: This position is located at McDonald Army Health Center in Fort Eustis, Virgina.
Duties
Validate approved pharmaceutical orders from the pharmacy using the restricted web site data base to confirm product costs and availability.
Assist customers with obtaining quotes, sole source justifications and other necessary documents needed to initiate a contract.
Create and maintain all applicable files regarding ordering, suppliers and funding.
Monitor shipments, inventories in transit and undelivered orders for proper deliveries.
Coordinate with appropriate activities to resolve problems.
Investigate and resolve incompatible information, discrepancies with shipments, shortages, billing and delays for corrective action.
Assist Materiel Branch in the financial aspect of the Organization Inspection Program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
