This position is located in Identity and Information Management Division, Resource Management Branch.
As an Management and Program Analyst, you will coordinate, analyze, and evaluate management programs, provide expert advice to managers, and identify best practices to improve program efficiency.
Duties
Responsible for implementing, coordinating, and supporting major Division-wide operations, services, and programs related to the division-wide logistics, facilities, asset management and emergency management programs.
Develops and/or conduct briefings, presentations, conference materials and other communications for supervisors and executive management.
Provides technical advice on a range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods of the divisions ASC operations logistics, facilities, asset management and emergency management programs for all USCIS and operations nationwide.
Prepares and analyses recommendations involving programs that affect logistics, facilities, asset management and emergency management programs for the division to inform courses of action for the best outcome.
Serves as the technical expert who creates, develop, and manage the division-wide logistics, facilities, asset management and emergency management programs.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 09/01/2023.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 09/01/2023.
GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Conduct studies, analyze findings and make recommendations on financial, human resources, and acquisition services.
Work with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to supply and inventory management to develop and implement immediate and long range goals, objectives, plans.
Plan, develop, and execute emergency management exercises and evaluate effectiveness of processes in order to recommend improvements.
Forecast and executes budget for IT resources and services, supplies, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
GS-14: In addition to the requirements at the lower grade level(s), to qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Lead a supply and logistics program team, provide oversight and direction, and manage financial, human resources and acquisition services.
Provide logistics management support and identify specific requirements for cost, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support both Headquarters and geographically separated assets.
Lead and deliver/explain an analysis of an emergency management program, as well as, provide and implement recommendations for improvement.
Provide leadership, oversight, and guidance to the effective management of complex projects; manage and mitigate risks, assess customer requirements, identify dependencies, and develop project plans.
