This position is located at Fort Campbell, KY, Physical Fitness Centers. The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Fort Campbell, KY. Duties

Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects. Opens and/or closes facilities by locking /unlocking doors and windows. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Prepares work order for maintenance which cannot be completed by self-help. Policies interior and exterior areas of building and grounds and performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be able to work during the hours of operations to include nights and weekends and some holidays.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position. (Must be able to lift 25 lbs.)
• A one year probationary period may be required as well as any additional required for position.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are: Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above. Must have and retain a valid drivers license. Highly Qualified candidates will have the following: Possess three month's work experience in a fitness or wellness facility. **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first.
