This position is located at: Fort Campbell, Physical Fitness Centers. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. Duties

Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis. Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance. Serves as a recreation assistant in support of recreational activities applying a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of recreation materials, and facilities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must be able to work during the hours of operations to include nights and weekends and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR215-3, 2-13i to include a National Agency Check (NACI).

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are: Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: Experience working in a physical fitness facility or wellness center. Experience working with Budget and Cash Register software programs (such as RecTrac) Experience as timekeeper or backup with time and attendance or payroll systems (such as ePay) Experience planning recreational activites **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others will be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list** PLEASE NOTE: Your resume must reflect the qualifications stated in the announcement and questionnaire to be rated eligible.
