This position is located at: Fort Campbell, Physical Fitness Centers. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. Duties

Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis. Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance. Serves as a recreation assistant in support of recreational activities applying a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of recreation materials, and facilities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A one year Supervisory Probationary Period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be able to work during the hours of operations to include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR215-3, 2-13i to include a National Agency Check (NACI).

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are: Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: Experience working in a physical fitness facility or wellness center. Experience with creating and executing a budget. Experience as a timekeeper or backup payroll personnel. Experience planning and executing recreational activities. Experience hiring and scheduling personnel. **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first.
