You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the SURFACE WEAPONS AND CEC DIVISION within SENSORS, WEAPONS AND LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as the Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Harpoon Weapon Systems (HWS).
You will provide technical support for Harpoon projects and tasking related to hardware and firmware modifications and upgrades.
You will motivate, train, and work effectively with team members and accomplish work within set limits of cost and time.
You will plan, program and direct diverse teams in the implementation and execution of In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) functional support, shipboard technical data development and validation.
You will be responsible for the financial and administrative management of the Harpoon program within the branch and develop improvements or design new work processes to improve productivity.
You will provide technical leadership to a group of engineers, scientists, and technical support staff responsible for programs requiring the services of government employees or contractors.
You will develop presentations on program and project status, problems and milestones.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying electronics technician concepts and techniques to execute projects and assign tasks related to system or equipment operation and maintenance for a ship weapon or combat systems program.
