Duties

This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, Business Integration Office located in Washington, D.C. At the full performance level, GS-14 the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Identify Organizational Change Management (OCM) needs for the Business Integration Office (BIO), create work plan and execute against to accomplish within established deadlines. 2. Work collaboratively with the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) Software Advocacy Leadership Team (FSALT) and bureau leads to understand the communication needs of their stakeholders. 3. Develops performance standards and evaluates work performed by subordinates. Observes workers' performance; demonstrates and conducts work performance critiques. Provides informal feedback, and periodically evaluates employee performance. 4. Develops and distributes annual Customer Satisfaction Survey and compiles the results in an easily understandable format that will allow the BIO to take the necessary actions relating to system improvements. 5. Identify and evaluate communication tools needed for both internal and external communication for the FBMS Community. The Office of the Secretary has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval. Salary Information: GS-14 $132.368 - $ $172,075 per annum. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level. This vacancy may be used to fill additional positions as vacancies become available.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series to which you are applying. Specialized Experience To qualify for the GS-14, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: 1.) Management or support of large, complex federal project communication initiatives, including all levels of stakeholders (i.e., end-users, program management, executive steering committee); 2.) Building consensus across diverse communities within an organization (project management, application development, business process, and operations support); 3.) Conducting operational analysis of SAP ERP systems, including statistical analysis; and 4.) Effectively and persuasively communicating objectives, complex relationships, and program goals to a variety of different audiences through interpersonal and written communications. MUST MEET ALL. Certifications: Must hold change management & project management certifications to include at least one of the following: Change Management Specialist (CMS) or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification AND, must hold one of the following: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification. **You are required to submit proof of the certificates with your initial application.
