This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as Assistant Program Manager responsible for managing new systems through advanced development, production and fielding in the FLRAA Office on Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Duties
Serves as Government Lead for interfacing with the Original Equipment Manager (OEM) on Integrated Product Teams (IPT) in support of the?Development and Production of FLRAA one the Army's top modernization programs.
Assure open communication, interface, and coordination of all actions with other Government agencies, including DoD, DA, DCMA, SRD, RTC, ACC, and other organizational elements.
Ensure leadership is aware and kept abreast of the planning of all actions, to preclude potential slippage and to maintain projects within cost, schedule and performance.
Responsible for managing new systems through development, production and fielding.
Develops strategies for PM FLRAA in support of the Development and Production Lines of Effort.
Requirements

To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level (NH-02/GS-11) position in the federal service.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) level in the Federal service that includes: 1) Executing cost, schedule, performance, and risk activities within the acquisition life-cycle framework; 2) Coordinating acquisition support activities necessary to meet program objectives; and 3) Performing periodic reviews of financial execution to include obligations and expenditure.
