This position is located in the Serbian Service, Eurasia Division, Voice of America, within the United States Agency of Global Media. This position uses multimedia across digital, social media and broadcast platforms to enhance the Voice of America Serbian Service's presence in the target area, increase audience reach and engagement, and improve the quality of reporting using internet and social media marketing, digital and affiliate distribution networks, video production, and graphic design.

As a Multimedia Specialist, you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to:

Qualifications

Screen out factor: Applicant must have fluency in both English and Serbian languages that enables you to speak, read, write, report, and translate in both languages. This language screen out factor MUST be listed in your resume to receive consideration. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the GG-11 or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience reporting, writing, recording, editing, and producing news and feature broadcasts for posting on the Web, social media and TV, for an established news organization of national or international prominence. Experience with designing, creating, manipulating and tailoring graphics, images, sound, animation, video and text to create integrated multimedia programs. Knowledge of Serbia its history, economics, culture, and socio-political development.

Education is not required for this grade level. It cannot be used for qualification purposes.
