You will serve as a MATERIALS HANDLER LEADER in the Property Control Branch, Supply Management Division, G-4 of MARINE CORPS BASE.

Duties

You assign work priorities to validate delivery of materials to correct organizations. You will monitor material handling work (e.g., volume of material received, completion rates, production rate of workers, fluctuations in program requirements) for an organization. You will advise employees of changes in policies and procedures to verify tasks are performed in compliance with current material regulation. You will compare received material and equipment to the receipt invoice to verify they match up and are correct. You will follow warehouse regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current forklift certification.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • This position is considered Mission-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • Must be willing and able to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 50 pounds in weight.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
