You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Program Executive Officer, Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS), Electromagnetic Systems Program Office of PEO UNDERSEA WARFARE SYSTEMS. You will serve as an expert Low Profile Mast (LPM) Project Manager, managing the prime contract(s) for outboard portions of the Imaging Program.

Duties
You will oversee the Type 20 low-profile mast which is the next-generation imaging mast that will provide enhanced capabilities to the Virginia and Columbia class submarines.
You will serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for contracts released by NAVSEA02.
You will manage the technical details for the Imaging Program including LPPM, LPM, Type-20, and future mast variant development, production, and maintenance.
You will work with various organizations to ensure there is synchronization between the New Construction (NCON) offices, the NCON shipbuilders, NUWC Newport, NSWC-Philly, the Imaging System Integrators and the other PEO SUB program offices.
You will demonstrate expert knowledge of the Type 20 low-profile mast program to evaluate its effectiveness for government programs and operations.
You will be experience with budgetary/financial management and acquisition principles/techniques as they relate to the planning of programs and objectives.
You will build contract solicitation packages for the design, development, production, and sustainment of complex electronic systems.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and executing acquisition activities (e.g., contracts, resources, scheduling, studies, etc.) for the modernization or in-service support of submarine programs.
