Duties
Carries out high priority assignments, studies, and projects personally assigned by the Supervisor on a wide variety of sensitive and confidential matters.
Utilizing a thorough knowledge of the program prepares daily, weekly and short-suspense status reports to staff elements and higher headquarters.
Reviews and evaluates all incoming correspondence to determine mission requirements and assigns projects, studies and work load distribution to branch action officers.
Reviews all outgoing correspondence to ensure completeness and compliance with existing directives, policy/procedures.
Reviews and analyzes incoming staff actions and decision correspondence.
Drafts and coordinates internal and external situation reports (SITREPS). Manages and synchronizes the MSE?s organizational common operating picture and calendar.
Serves as the advisor to the Supervisor on both technical and administrative matters relating to the accomplishment, coordination and disposition of a variety of substantive staff actions and assignments.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required up to 50% of the time.
- During rotational exercises, the employee is required to work a flexible duty hour which includes - weekends, holidays, and shift work consistent of 10-12 hours days for an extended 2-week period or longer.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 25lbs. in the regular performance of duties.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience reviewing and analyzing incoming staff actions and decision correspondence. Conduct analyses of staff actions received from higher headquarters. Study and evaluates issues and data presented and based on expert analysis of content and knowledge of functional assignments throughout the organization. Draft and coordinate internal and external situation reports (SITREPS).
