You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Aviation Division of the FMS Operations Department within International Programs of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will brief management and sponsors on status of systems logistics related information.
You will use databases to track failure trends of configured items.
You will use a database to reference history, analyze quotes, or provide scope definition forms for new work requests.
You will analyze technical data systems to identify the effectiveness of logistics support operations.
You will evaluate integrated logistical support (ILS) programs to determine compliance with strategic plans.
You will coordinate weapon system integrated logistics processes and procedures to ensure timely logistics support.
You will coordinate integrated logistical support (ILS) plans to support the activities of equipment and systems throughout the life-cycle.
You will advise on matters of industrial support policies and transportation to support logistics objectives.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current DOD Security Cooperation Workforce Certification.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Following established supply support processes and procedures to meet the needs of an organization; 2) Resolving supply support issues by utilizing and analyzing information provided in database management systems, including but not limited to ERP; 3) Ensuring data integrity of database systems and providing statistical data in the form of reports, spreadsheets, tables, charts or presentations; 4) Satisfying USN/USMC and/or FMS fleet demands via established requisition processing procedures; 5) Possessing knowledge of the product life-cycle management concept and the importance of supply support within that concept; 6) Working with ILS budgets and an understanding of their importance.
