About the Position: Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating the performance and status of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements, i.e., maintenance planning, manpower and personnel, supply support, etc. for assigned equipment during the logistics life cycle.
Duties
Develops and coordinates assessment criteria, performance indicators, policies, and procedures for measuring Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) effectiveness in the life cycle of systems/equipment.
Investigates, coordinates, and recommends resolutions of logistics problems and deficiencies affecting smooth and orderly acquisition, fielding and support of systems/equipment.
Provides staff technical advice and assistance in the preparation of materiel fielding plans and agreements.
Reviews and evaluates the impact of proposed program schedule changes on logistics requirements and sources.
Prepares the initial Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP) and provides ILS management assistance to the RD and E Center on non-developmental items or less complex subsystem developmental items.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Direct Deposit of Pay is required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Integrating separate logistics functions to monitor, review, and evaluate performance for systems and equipment; 2) Applying logistics policies and regulations to develop support plans; 3) Applying analytical methods to resolve logistics issues; AND 4) Utilizing SAP or similar software for requisitions or inventory management and cataloguing.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
