The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) is the central facility for the acquisition, preservation, protection, retrieval, and dissemination of scientific and technical information supporting the Research and Engineering (R&E) needs of the Department of Defense, as well as federal and industry partners. DTIC ensures the innovation and knowledge stemming from DoD's past and current investment in science and technology (S&T) forms the building blocks for the next generation of discovery.
Duties
Serves as the authority who leads DTIC services to the OUSD Comptroller Investment validation of component budget exhibits.
Leads the initiatives for the rapid curation and posting of congressional marks.
Serves as senior project manager support for key projects and decision-making information needs of managers and planners within DTIC and across the DoD.
Performs a major portion of the planning, creation, and maintenance of information technology implementation efforts that provide fiscal, technical, and program decision support information to the OUSD(RE)/OSD/DoD.
As the Senior Project Manager, manages the tools that support the Acquisition Resources and Analysis - Enterprise Information (ARA-EI) Directorate data management activities.
Represents DTIC at conferences, seminars and meetings.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-13 within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as experience with the management of collaboration applications (i.e. Confluence, MS Teams); managing an Agile project team performing application development and the development of search capabilities, artificial Intelligence, and machine learning;developing Agile Software and DevSecOps processing framework; developing and analyzing requirements; and managing software application lifecycle maintenance.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of knowledge, skills and abilities, or competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position.
