About the Position: You will serve as Staff Action Control Officer (SACO) for the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) under the Office of the Chief of Staff and reports to the Secretary Director Staff (SDS), supporting the Senior Executive Service (SES) Level-2 Director.

Duties

Responsible for fully managing, reviewing and providing recommendations on staff actions for key programs and issues relating to RHC-A's overall mission. Use multiple automation and information management systems, hardware and software. Provide guidance for the coordination of efforts for region-wide actions and events ensuring that all resources are properly utilized, ensuring no duplication of effort, and that all organizational and legal requirements are satisfied. Monitor all actions through to completion, providing assistance as requested. Collaborate with staff elements to define administrative problems, collect and analyze the data and present recommended solutions to top management. Responsible for managing, analyzing, operating and making improvements to the workflow management system. Oversees the day-to-day administrative and managerial operations of the command suite.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This is a drug testing designated position, IAW AR 600-85, a DA Form 5019R must be signed for mandatory drug testing. Individual agrees to submit to a urinalysis on a recurring basis.
