You will serve as a PROGRAM OPERATIONS SUPPORT ASSISTANT (Office Automation) in the Administration Department at the Training Air Wing One onboard Naval Air Station Meridian, MS. The mission of Training Air Wing ONE is to provide newly designated aviators to the fleet for further training in operational combat aircraft and is conveyed in the wing motto, "Readiness for Victory at Sea Through Training." The duty station is Meridian, MS.
Duties
You will cover a wide variety of office automation administrative responsibilities including but not limited to: various word processing assignments and graphic and database programs.
You will revise/review correspondences and instructions as per a guidance manual. Deliver, pickup, and distribute mail and process incoming and outgoing messages through an automated system.
You will be a Government Purchase Card holder and acquire authorized supplies and services as directed.
You will serve as the Command Pay and Personnel Administrator creating and process submitting a variety of military personnel transactions, such as gains, transfers, re-enlistments, and, separation/retirement transactions.
You will generate travel authorization orders for the command and upon completion review travel authorizations and vouchers ensuring the accuracy of submissions as required by governing instructions.
You will initiate, review, submit and track all personnel security requests for military and contract personnel through the Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) system.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret level security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.
- You may be required to travel from normal duty station for up three weeks.
- You must be willing to travel by commercial/government conveyance.
- You must complete all required training to gain access to systems and performance of duties.
- You may be required to work occasional overtime .
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of office automation duties (e.g. data input, customer service, data gathering, preparing reports, correspondence, and maintaining files), utilizing various systems and databases to support the corporate/organizational/command mission and goals; Planning, organizing, and prioritizing work to meet deadlines; Typing to produce the full range of office automation work.
