You will serve as a LEAD COMMAND PAY AND PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATOR (OA) at the Naval Technical Training Center (NTTC), Meridian, MS.
Duties
You will answer telephone calls to direct caller to appropriate person
You will work closely with other entities to process payments in accordance with guidelines and regulations
You will resolve administrative issues (e.g., procurement of supplies, schedule conflicts, leave requests, overtime or compensatory time requests, procurement, timekeeping) to avoid disruption to office operations.
You will review regulations or policies to prepare correspondence and/or documents for office personnel.
You will maintain office materials, forms, and supplies to support a continuous workflow.
You will create copy, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store and print a wide variety of documents in final format form.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assist with Command Pay and Personnel including SALESFORCE, NSIPS and AMPS. 2.) Utilization of policies, procedures, and precedents that apply to Navy Administration, Civilian and Military Awards, Message Traffic, General Correspondence. 3) Maintaining workflow processes to ensure productivity is on time and accurate with the compliance of administrative, clerical, pay and personnel related matters.
