You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the NAVAL TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER (NTTC).
Duties
You will determine the nature of a call, action required, and priority necessary for action.
You will enter data in an online information repository using office automation equipment and software.
You will answer administrative related questions to assist staff.
You will collaborate with staff in the office, and in other offices, to foster and maintain effective cooperative relationships to complete assignments.
You will resolve administrative issues (e.g., travel orders, payment issues, timekeeping) in an office environment.
You will compose and edit outgoing correspondence to ensure correct content, grammar, and format.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing, interpreting, and applying administrative rules and regulations to process complicated transactions; 2) Demonstrating superior customer service skills while performing a wide range of administrative functions; 3) Utilizing automated pay and personnel systems, such as the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) and Fleet Training Management and Planning System (FLTMPS); and 4) Communicating effectively and diplomatically in writing and verbally.
