Duties
This position is located in the Office of General Counsel, Headquarters, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
Serves as the agency officer for the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Civil Liberties (CL) programs for the DCAA.
Manages, plans, initiates, develops, and executes agency-wide policy and program development, administration, evaluation, efficiency, and effectiveness for the FOIA, PA and CL programs.
Monitors current developments, court decisions, and policy changes and analyzes any impact to current DCAA policies and procedures.
Ensures proper implementation of FOIA, PA and CL programs and compliance with regulations, provides guidance, resolves conflicts, and applies internal controls.
Reviews, analyzes, makes decisions, and processes FOIA, PA, and CL requests to ensure proper handling and compliance.

Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience includes knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures for the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA), and assisting or managing an agency-wide policy program for FOIA, PA or Civil Liberties.
