You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Marine Corps Logistics Command of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.

Duties

You will design, plan, and conduct industrial performance analyses of business operations and methods and procedures, and benchmarking studies of substantive work processes or functions related to depot maintenance and operations. You will provide management and support services of program cost-analysis, annual/multi-year/long range fiscal planning, and development of annual work-plan(s) and schedules. You will provide program planning, assessment, evaluation, analysis, coordination and advisory services for a wide variety of issues regarding depot maintenance and maintenance management operations.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. You must be willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assessing the productivity, effectiveness, or efficiency of program operations; developing methods to improve the effectiveness in which programs are administered, AND providing support services in the areas of cost analysis and fiscal planning.
