You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Department of Military Sealift Command.

Duties

You will advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and admnistrative operations. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing financial data to develop an organization's program objectives memorandum (POM); Experience formulating budgets to support plans, programs or activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities; Experience utilizing Working Capital Funds financial policies and procedures to formulate, justify or execute the budget; Experience providing advice on the effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and/or activities.
