You will serve as an Administrative Assistant (O/A) in the JAG Consolidated Administrative Business (JCAB) of NLSC.
Duties
You will serve as a Government Purchase Cardholder for the procurement of services and supplies.
You will solicit cost estimates and verify that requirements are fulfilled.
You will reconcile bank statements and resolve any incongruencies.
You will review travel authorizations and vouchers to ensure compliance with all applicable travel regulations.
You assist division staff with travel arrangements and itineraries.

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Completing procurement transactions for supplies, equipment, and services; 2) Reconciling bank statements to ensure accuracy in the record and disputes questionable transactions; 3) Utilizing various web-based programs to conduct research, review and reconcile information, and run reports; 4) Operating the Defense Travel System (DTS) and/or other automated systems to process and manage travel documents, orders, arrangements, and claims; 5) Conducting research, review information, run reports, and reconcile information within related data systems; and 6) Entering, correcting, changing, and/or maintaining entries of financial data systems.
