This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties
Serve as Assistant Program Manager responsible for managing the planning, acquisition, fielding and support for assigned Foreign Military Sales programs.
Direct the work of specialists within the office and, through functional managers, the activities of a great many matrix support specialists.
Review data relating to short and long term technical management, financial objectives and requirements to keep abreast of US program progress and anticipated problems to ensure synchronization of FMS programs.
Maintain direct channel communications with system users and the user community.
Coordinate planning, acquisition, fielding, and support for Foreign Military Sales programs
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
- Must maintain and obtain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service that includes: 1) Executing cost, schedule, performance, and risk activities within the acquisition life-cycle framework; 2) Coordinating acquisition support activities necessary to meet program objectives; and 3) Performing periodic reviews of financial execution to include obligations and expenditures.
