About the Position The position is located in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at Falls Church, Virginia under the policy guidance and direction of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD HA). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Serves as Program Analyst for the Capability and Architecture Management Division. Manages Capability Management processes, workgroups, and other activities, and associated repositories, tools, and related requirements content for DHA systems. Oversees standardization and consistency of requirements to ensure traceability across the spectrum of health care activities. Supports health care and the associated functions of enrollment, capitation, decision support, medical logistics, medical readiness, and resource management. Recommends resources to program Chair and conducts working groups for DHA high priority programs. Conducts extensive coordination, achieves integration, and obtains consensus with multiple internal and external departments and health care industry partners to accomplish the DoD mission.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• This position requires the incumbent to be certified in Capability Management at the time of assignment or able to acquire certification within 12 months of assignment into this position as determined by the incumbent?s supervisor.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
