Duties
You will interpret standards on organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations.
You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for manager.
You will perform managerial and administrative work in connection with accounting systems, analytics, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with management control of resources or funds.
You will track and control funds for special programs; analytical or program work pertaining to payroll, cash control, or benefit systems
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position may be subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required to include being recalled back to duty.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. You must be willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
- This position has Financial management level certification requirements, 60 hours of continuing education training CET must be accomplished every 2 years.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: In accounting and formulating budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities to include reviewing and evaluating budget request, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify for the position based on education. Education obtained must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. To qualify based on education, applicant must possess:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
