Duties
You will plan work, set priorities, and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment.
You will assign work to subordinates based on employees capabilities, priorities and difficulties.
You will perform and advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration to include formulation of budget and cost estimates to support plans programs, and activities.
You will analyze and recommend cost and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organizations programs and administrative operations.
You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice, and instruction.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
You must obtain a Financial Management Level 2 Certification within 2 years of appointment to this position. Certification must be maintained to continue to remain eligible.
This position is required to complete an OGE 450 with in 30 days of entrance on duty.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, procedures, and regulations; Knowledge of policies, goals, objectives, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area; In-depth knowledge of one or more financial management systems; Experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving a range of budgetary problems; Ability to lead, train, mentor and/or supervise employees.
