You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Radar Technologies Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will be leading Product Support personnel as they work in the various Integrated Product Support Elements
You will be responsible for the development of the workforce, effective execution of workload consistent with organizational initiatives and objectives, and for providing outstanding support and service to assigned customers.
You will develop an understanding of the various technical and business processes within Radar Technologies Division, to include Project Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Data Management, and Design and Development.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating and evaluating integrated logistical support (ILS) requirements for weapon systems and warfare equipment to develop or adjust plans in order to reduce cost and improve readiness for combat systems life cycle.
